Two International Selections!
NPC Studios is excited to share a major milestone for the Ugandan faith film Whispers. The film was written and directed by Isaac Kataryeba under the Namugongo Pentecostal Church (NPC) film ministry.
Whispers has earned selections at two international film festivals. First, it will screen at the FilmAid Kenya Film Festival in the Emerging Filmmakers category. Next, it will appear at Lift-Off London’s First-Time Filmmakers’ Sessions Volume 11.
These achievements put Ugandan faith-based films on the global stage. This recognition celebrates Ugandan storytelling and shows how faith-driven films from local church projects are gaining influence worldwide. The FilmAid Kenya Festival will run from October 28–30, 2025, at FAWE House, Nairobi, and will conclude with an Award Gala.
Director Isaac Kataryeba will travel to Kenya to represent the film, the Church, and the talented Ugandan cast. This team includes passionate youth from Namugongo Pentecostal Church, who use film to inspire positive change.
The festival offers a platform for networking, learning, and sharing Uganda’s unique stories with the world. Whispers demonstrates that local voices can reach international audiences and impact lives through faith, creativity, and storytelling.
